The 8th International Symposium on Plasma Biosciences 2018 (ISPB 2018)
Greeting from Chairman of “The 8th International Symposium on Plasma Biosciences 2018 (ISPB 2018)”
It is so good to have the “8th International Symposium on Plasma Biosciences (ISPB 2018)” at Songdo Convensia, Incheon, Korea, during 5 days of July 24-28, 2018. Professional scientists are looking for the clinical possibilities of applying the atmospheric pressure non-thermal biocompatible plasma (hereafter NBP) to tissues for realization of plasma medicines during last 10-15 years. Up to now, it is still hot topics for the clarification of basic NBP interactions with biological skin tissues, micro-organisms, cancer tissues, and degenerate neural diseases for blue human healthcares. This international symposium has been prepared for systematic developments with highly well-organized global networkings of plasma bioscience and medicine at “Plasma Bioscience Research Center (PBRC), which is a National Advanced Center of Excellency for Convergence Sciences, in Kwangwoon University, Seoul, Korea.
More than 200 important papers on these various topics have been presented, and more than 200 scientists have participated to this ‘ISPB 2018’ from Germany, USA, Japan, China, France, Russia, Australia, Thailand, India, Italy, UK, and Korea. Especially “The 2nd Special Plasma Skin Session” is organized by INP and PBRC scientists in this conference.
Scientific results reported here may also lead to the great contribution to the plasma bioscience and medicines throughout better understandings of the NBP interactions with living biological systems. Here I would like to acknowledge especially to all collaborative scientists and institutes, and also to the all participants from various overseas countries.
Sincerely yours,
Eun-Ha Choi,
Chair of ISPB2018
